How Could We Not?
The weather today was perfect, and so the boys and I had to spend the day outside. We were able to enjoy our first picnic lunch of the season, which Levin found to be very exciting. There was also time spent digging in the dirt and playing ball.

Better than I thought
A few weeks ago Erika wrote a post about cleaning, and in that post she included a cleaning guide taken from the Martha Stewart website . I printed the list out and placed in into a pile of papers, where it has rested untouched, that is, until today. I decided to try and dust one of our bookshelves as Martha directed.
Admittedly, it seemed a bit overkill, until I began the task. I mean, it's not like I never dust. In fact I dust quite regularly, bookshelves included. I am writing to say, that it actually was quite shocking how much dust lay nestled atop each books outer shell. My challenge would be for you to all try this for yourselves and see just how nice your bookshelves can look too. Happy dusting!

New and Improved
This past week we had our chimney and fire box repaired. Apparently, if we would have had the fire department come and inspect it, it would have been deemed unsafe to use. Good to know, don't ya think?
So, after my post yesterday, about longing for warmer weather, maybe just one cold night would be fun, so we can try out the new and improved fireplace, once it's cured. Would that be against the rules, since it is technically Spring?

Spring??
Was anyone else a little bummed to wake up and see snow falling this morning? I know I was, which says a lot since I love winter and all the rainy/snowy days it brings. It is currently just raining, but yikes is it cold outside. I think I am officially ready for some warmer weather, be it wet or dry.
If the weather report holds true, it looks like some nicer weather is coming our way for the weekend! Then the question arises, as to which flower bed to weed first.
