If We Could Only Freeze Time

Today, Levin turns four!! I cannot believe that just four years ago he entered our family, a tiny 6 pound little guy and now he's turning another year older. What a fun stage, he is in. He is asking so many genuine questions, and loving to help out at home with any and everything. I love this age, as we can see the wheels turning in his little head while he tries to figure out life and all the many things he can do in it. I wish we could freeze the time at this age, though I am not sure how I like the thought of remaining pregnant the rest of my life, so time will have to move forward. I just hope I can remember all the funny things he is doing and saying.

Craft Time

Here is the boys most recent art project. Since we seem to not be getting any snow here this year, we had to make some on paper.

And this is mostly for Ali! I started knitting again last Friday, and have made it farther then ever before. I am having fun, and who knows maybe someday I will be able to make a sweater or something more exciting than a scarf.

Change

Allow me to present a rather large change in our life, maybe even more surprising than a new baby....car...you name it.

Yup, that's right folks, we have entered the world of owning a TV. We have never owned one since being married five years ago, but this year marked a change. No more watching movies on our 17" laptop, which happens to be dying currently. (I am typing all of this one handed, while securing the power cord in place, which by the way, comes as no small task for one who is already challenged in the world of typing.) So, my husband has gone and done what any man ever does, when told to go get whatever he thinks would work well. He did not simply stop at getting the TV and DVD player, but also got in wall/ceiling speakers too!! Pretty wild, but fun none the less.

Another new development in our house this past week, was changing up the boys sleeping arrangements. They moved across the hall, out of the "nursery", and into a new room. Philip gave up the crib for Levin's bed, and Levin moved into a bed gained from Jason's parents house (actually, Jason's old bed). Both boys were so excited about the move, thus took a little while winding down to sleep the first night.

Here are pictures of their room, that we finished decorating today!

Sweet Moments

Even 3 1/2 year olds look sweet while napping. Though, they do not cuddle up the same in ones arms, like an infant.

The Turkey Is Done

Well, maybe not quite yet, but it sure appears that way based on the fact that my belly button has become an out y once again. This has happened each pregnancy without fail, so I guess it becomes a sort of landmark, if you will.

Today does mark the 30 week mark for baby and I, which hardly seems possible. Everything looked and sounded good at the doctor today. And, you know the best part...the scale showed that I lost a pound. Ok, maybe not accurate, but funny anyways, since we all know that is quite the opposite of what I do during pregnancy.

This milestone means we have around 10 weeks to find a name, and get all the other details worked out, such as moving beds around and all that fun stuff.

Maybe, I will get another picture to document our progress here soon, but please don't hold me to it...I work better under my own doing. Some things never change, right mom?
