This past week we had our chimney and fire box repaired. Apparently, if we would have had the fire department come and inspect it, it would have been deemed unsafe to use. Good to know, don't ya think?
So, after my post yesterday, about longing for warmer weather, maybe just one cold night would be fun, so we can try out the new and improved fireplace, once it's cured. Would that be against the rules, since it is technically Spring?

Looks great--so clean and new. Seems a shame to puta fire in it at all. Maybe a nice plant or a candle! :)
Hey, my parents have been known to build fires in August. You gotta love Washington summers! Actually, I could really use some cooler weather. It was 76 degrees on my way to work this morning (at 7:30 am)!
