Here You Go Mommy

Levin brought me my very first dandelion bouquet yesterday. He was so proud, that we had to take pictures.

This n' That

Here is a picture of the lunch I am sitting down to enjoy on this pretty spring day. Since strawberries were on sale last week at Safeway, I bought some, and though they are not local ones, they are the best so far this season-meaning red all the way through. I love this season when fresh fruit begins to be affordable again.



Also, big news this week, in regards to Levin. He started potty training. We are not pushing it by any means, but he seems to be taking off ok with it. Yesterday was our first day in "big boy underwear", and let's just say I did a little laundry in connection with that.

Today has been much better. He has been dry all day, even while we were away at a friends house! Not sure yet whether this is for real, but we will keep plugging away. Any suggestions on rewards or what you have done in connection with that would be fun to hear.

Getting a little too comfortable

I really do photograph my children and other things besides herons, but Henry has grabbed my attention yet again. He stopped by again last week, scoping out our land scape for a good twenty minutes, giving me ample time to get pictures and even a little video. What big birds these guys are!

Look Who Stopped In!

Our friend Henry, as we have named him, stopped in for a brief visit yesterday. It had been awhile, though he and his family fly over daily. Had he stayed longer I may have had the chance to offer him a refreshing drink, but I think he would have preferred the fish swimming in the pond instead.

I could get used to this

After a quick trip to the grocery store this morning, the boys and I headed over to the park, for a little time in the sun. How refreshing it was for us all. We were even able to enjoy our lunch while there.

In the words of Levin as he announced after working outside with daddy last night, "I'm exhausted" Well, maybe I am not, but I hope they are.

Easter

Could he look any more thrilled about dying eggs?

This year for Easter we had grandma and grandpa German and Aunt Jen over, which allowed for a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon. The Boys all took naps while the girls enjoyed good conversation over chocolate and the dishes. I realize that we neglected to get a picture of the boys in their clothes, but they will wear them again I am sure.
