Five Years Old

Today, marks Levin's fifth birthday. So, to celebrate we had waffles (his special request)for breakfast, and opened his gifts, all before daddy had to leave for work. We will have the big family party later next week.

Usually, I give the boys a little something to open at the breakfast table on their birthday, but with such a span before the party we gave him his large gift too, a tower crane. He has not stopped thanking me all day long for his crane and a new train car.

The weather is so warm and sunny today, that we were able to make the morning even more special by taking a trip over to one of our favorite parks, The Tot Lot. The boys had a great time. Now, I am hoping we can all catch a little birthday nap. Hey, a mom can dream, right?
